Black Rock and LittleCar Continues
After having absorbed enough of the town life in Gerlack, (Gerlack is beautiful and has a fabulous gypsum industry for the fabrication of drywall) we headed back out onto the Playa. Our goal was the hotsprings but along the way Scotty and Roger got lost in the swirling clouds of dust that billowed up behind the rovers.

After driving around in a stupor calling for Scotty on the CB, the three Rovers got tired and stopped at the hot springs for a well deserved break. Apparently someone in this covered wagon had stopped here too but some time back. Luckily all the Rovers started and we did not have to leave anyone behind.
Two forms of transport at the springs
Scotty and Roger managed to track us down and the group was united again. A calm set in. After lounging in the springs and talking about the fun of cracking Playa we headed off towards the high dry mine. If the scanner gets working I'll try to get some more photos up of that adventure. In the end, LittleCar did wonderfully well and nothing broke except the speedo cable just as we passed Pyramid Lake.
